The broadcast design was to be more snappy and brighter for this year’s event. Having worked on so many golf designs over the years I wanted to try to stay away from the standard green palette that gets used internationally now and instead focus on the iconic blue colour of the logo.
With UNIQLO the new sponsor it was also a different demographic that had to be reflected in the look and feel of the design.
It would seem that the freshest motion graphics for golf are the ones that are pushing the limits through colour and challenging what the graphics should look like. The Jeep 4-Ball Pro-Am design still remains one of the more innovative designs I’ve worked on and brings something new to golf design.
